A New Publication on Mass Transfer in Slurry Bubble Column Reactor
Dr. Mahmoud Moharam, Assistant Professor in Zewail City’s Environmental Engineering Program, published a new article in the February issue of the Chemical Engineering Research and Design Journal.
The article investigates mass transfer in Fischer–Tropsch slurry bubble column reactors which convert a mixture of carbon monoxide and hydrogen or water gas into synthetic liquid hydrocarbon fuels.
Results obtained were used to develop a correlation for predicting mass transfer in such reactors.
