Dr. Marwan Emara publishes new study in Oncology Reports

Dr. Marwan Emara, associate professor at the Center for Aging and Associated Diseases, has published a paper titled Effect of Hypoxia on Angiogenesis Related Factors in Glioblastoma Cells in the February 2014 edition of Oncology Reports.

The study suggests that administration of anti-angiogenic factors, which stop the formation of new blood vessels from pre-existing ones, also stop supplying tumors with blood and could be given to patients to improve the effect of treatment of glioblastoma tumors.
