Scholarships 2024

 

Freshman Scholarships for 2024/2025:

 

  • UST awards scholarships based on academic merit.
  • Up to two students out of the top 10 Thanawya Amma students of each governorate receive full scholarships. These students keep their full scholarships for the four years of study as long as they maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00.

 

School of Business - Scholership

The amounts of first-year scholarships are as follows:
  • Students Thanawya Amma, Alazhar, STEMwith scores of 85% or more receive a 35% discount of the tuition fees.
  • Students Thanawya Amma, Alazhar, STEMwith scores from 75% to below 85% receive a 25% discount of the tuition fees.
  • Students Thanawya Amma, Alazhar, STEMwith scores from 70% to below 75% receive a 10% discount of the tuition fees.
  • Students (Arab, IGCSE, IB, French Baccalaureate, Canadian Diploma, German Abitur certificates holders) with scores of 93% or above receive a 35% discount of the tuition fees.
  • Students (Arab, IGCSE, IB, French Baccalaureate, Canadian Diploma, German Abitur certificates holders) with scores from 88% to below 93% receive a 25% discount of the tuition fees.
  • Students (Arab, IGCSE, IB, French Baccalaureate, Canadian Diploma, German Abitur certificates holders) with scores from 83% to below 88% receive a 10% discount of the tuition fees.
  • American Diploma students with scores of 113% or above receive a 35% discount of the tuition fees.
  • American Diploma students with scores from 108% to below 113% receive a 25% discount of the tuition fees.
  • American Diploma students with scores from 103% to below 108% receive a 10% discount of the tuition fees.
 
 
Computational Sciences and Artificial Intelligence - Scholarship

 

 
The amounts of first-year scholarships are as follows:
  • Students Thanawya Amma, Alazhar, STEMwith scores of 90% or more receive a 35% discount of the tuition fees.
  • Students Thanawya Amma, Alazhar, STEMwith scores from 80% to below 90% receive a 25% discount of the tuition fees.
  • Students Thanawya Amma, Alazhar, STEMwith scores from 75% to below 80% receive a 10% discount of the tuition fees.
  • Students (Arab, IGCSE, IB, French Baccalaureate, Canadian Diploma, German Abitur certificates holders) with scores of 98% or above receive a 35% discount of the tuition fees.
  • Students (Arab, IGCSE, IB, French Baccalaureate, Canadian Diploma, German Abitur certificates holders) with scores from 93% to below 98% receive a 25% discount of the tuition fees.
  • Students (Arab, IGCSE, IB, French Baccalaureate, Canadian Diploma, German Abitur certificates holders) with scores from 90% to below 93% receive a 10% discount of the tuition fees.
  • American Diploma students with scores of 118% or above receive a 35% discount of the tuition fees.
  • American Diploma students with scores from 113% to below 118% receive a 25% discount of the tuition fees.
  • American Diploma students with scores from 108% to below 113% receive a 10% discount of the tuition fees.

 

 

School of Engineering - Scholarships

The amounts of first-year scholarships are as follows:
  • Students Thanawya Amma, Alazhar, STEM(Math division) with scores of 85% or more receive a 35% discount of the tuition fees.
  • Students Thanawya Amma, Alazhar, STEM(Math division) with scores from 75% to below 85% receive a 25% discount of the tuition fees.
  • Students Thanawya Amma, Alazhar, STEM(Math division) with scores from 70% to below 75% receive a 10% discount of the tuition fees.
  • Students Thanawya Amma, Alazhar, STEM(Science division) with scores of 90% or more receive a 35% discount of the tuition fees.
  • Students Thanawya Amma, Alazhar, STEM(Science division) with scores from 80% to below 90% receive a 25% discount of the tuition fees.
  • Students Thanawya Amma, Alazhar, STEM(Science division) with scores from 75% to below 80% receive a 10% discount of the tuition fees.
  • Students (Arab, IGCSE, IB, French Baccalaureate, Canadian Diploma, German Abitur certificates holders) with scores of 98% or above receive a 35% discount of the tuition fees.

  • Students (Arab, IGCSE, IB, French Baccalaureate, Canadian Diploma, German Abitur certificates holders) with scores from 90% to below 93% receive a 10% discount of the tuition fees.
  • American Diploma students with scores of 118% or above receive a 35% discount of the tuition fees.

School of Science - Scholarships

  • Students Thanawya Amma, Alazhar, STEMwith scores from 75% to below 80% receive a 15% discount of the tuition fees.
  • Students (Arab, IGCSE, IB, French Baccalaureate, Canadian Diploma, German Abitur certificates holders) with scores of 98% or above receive a 40% discount of the tuition fees.
  • Students (Arab, IGCSE, IB, French Baccalaureate, Canadian Diploma, German Abitur certificates holders) with scores from 93% to below 98% receive a 30% discount of the tuition fees.
  • Students (Arab, IGCSE, IB, French Baccalaureate, Canadian Diploma, German Abitur certificates holders) with scores from 90% to below 93% receive a 15% discount of the tuition fees.
  • American Diploma students with scores of 118% or above receive a 40% discount of the tuition fees.
  • American Diploma students with scores from 113% to below 118% receive a 30% discount of the tuition fees.
  • American Diploma students with scores from 108% to below 113% receive a 15% discount of the tuition fees.

 

 

Other Special Scholarships for UST Students:

  • 10% discount for UST students' siblings.
  • 10% discount for dependant of governmental employees/pensioners.
  • 20% discount for resident students in Egypt from the following nationalities (Syria, Palestine, Sudan, and Yemen).
  • 25% discount for students applying to the School of Business Administration.
  • Same Merit-Based Scholarships for International Students

 

Scholarships for Returning Students:

  • For the second to fourth years of study, students who were originally admitted in 2023/2024 receive a full or partial discount depending on their cumulative GPA (cGPA) in each year as follows:
  • 100% discount for students who maintain a cGPA of 4.00
  • 35% discount for students with cGPA from 3.67 to less than 4.00
  • 25% discount for students with cGPA from 3.33 to less than 3.67
  • 10%   discount for students with cGPA from 3.00 to less than 3.33
  • 0% discount for students with cGPA below 3.00
